We've been adding some cool new features to the Schools at Somerhill website.
Always keen to constantly develop their website, the Schools at Somerhill have asked Assertis to carry out some additional work to their website to keep it ahead of the pack.
First off, we've given them a photo resizer that resizes the stored photos, helping them reduce used diskspace and allowing them to store more online. The Schools at Somerhill has an extensive gallery section on their website, so this is of great benefit to them. In addition to this we have enabled an option to have expiry dates on their galleries and photos, so they can auto-archive them to help them manage their site better.
We've also been busy adding a site-wide search function to their website, allowing pupils, parents and staff to find what they're looking for much faster than before.
Finally, we have set them up with RSS feeds for news, events and all of their sporting fixtures.
If you'd like any of these features on your school website, please get in touch!

Check out the redesigned website Assertis have successfully launched for Ripley Court School.
Assertis have a long term relationship with Ripley Court, an existing client, and one of our oldest school websites.
When we first created the original Ripley Court website the school were out of top 50 on search terms relating to 'Prep schools Surrey', now they have regular results within the top 3 of search terms. Because of this, the school is receiving regular enquiries via the website contact form. Hopefully new website will bring in even more enquiries!
The redesigned website brings Ripley Court right uptodate. Assertis have improved the layout and navigation as well as improving the functionality of the Gallery section.
